RENTAL Conditions      

 
The detailed conditions changes  according toLocal  partner’s conditions. 



WHAT'S INCLUDED:

Italians taxes, RCA Insurances, Road assistance with Pronto Assistance in Italy and Europe, TH/F, Kasko, VAT.   With the following liability: Group A/B/C/ € 1.500,00 (+ € 500 for outside Italy)
Gas Cylinder, WC liquid - where they are included the price list is marked *.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:

Fuel, engine oil, puncture (flat tire), gas bottles, WC chemicals, biodegradable toilet paper, bed linen, kitchenware and kitchen utensils, external and internal cleaning and preparation fees.

The preparation fee includes (only in Milan)  : gas bottles, WC chemicals, biodegradable toilet paper external and internal cleaning. 

MINIMUM RENTAL PERIODS

High season: 21 days
Rest of the Year Free km: 6 days
Easter, April 25 and May 1, Alpines meeting, Oktoberfest, New Year, Christmas and other festivities or bridges have always obligatory minimum rental periods. 
Easter is always mid season.

INSURANCES:

RCA: third party insurance and property damage liability up to 2,5 millions Euro. There is Euro 1.500,00 deductible for collision, fire, theft and vandalism. Damage to the undercarriage and interiors not caused by a motor vehicle accident are not covered by insurance.

MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITY:

All drive vehicles are delivered in top mechanical condition. Any damage to the brakes, engine or transmission caused by abuse will be charged to the customer.

MINIMUM RENT PERIODS

High season: 21 days
Rest of the Year: Free km: 6 days or limited km 4 days
Easter, April 25 and May 1: 5 days
Alpines meeting and Oktoberfest: 4 days
New Year and Christmas: 7 days 
In high season the W-E tariff is not applicable. Easter is always mid season.

RESERVATIONS:

A payment of 40% of the total rent + 50€ registration fees, is required when making a reservation. Reservations may be made by fax, e-mail, or mail. In order to confirm the booking, full payment is required at least 30 days before departure.
All Clients must possess a credit card. We accept VISA and AMERICAN EXPRESS.

CANCELLATION:

For reservation cancelled 90 days prior to departure: the client will pay 5% of the total rent. For reservation cancelled 60 days prior to departure: penalty is the deposit and after the whole amount is paid (at least 30 days prior) no refund.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:

The client is required to leave a deposit by credit card in the day of departure. The amount is of Euro 1.500,00.and it might be used to cover eventual exceeding km, exceeding days, eventual damages, franchise or other charges concerning the closure of the contract. The deposit is refunded when the vehicle is returned in a clean, and undamaged condition. In case of an accident the deposit will be retained till when the situation is cleared by the Security Company.

PARKING AND TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS:

Customers are responsible for reporting and payment of all parking/traffic violations at rental termination. Non-reporting of parking/traffic violations breaches the rental agreement and may result in an administrative charge of up to Euro 100 in addition to the fines.

BREAKDOWNS:

Road assistance is covered by a covering insurance PRONTO ASSISTANCE which provides assistance 24 h, haulage to garage in case of breakdown or accident and everything else mentioned in the subscription booklet that will be handed to the client at the departure.
Eventual mechanical breakdown not caused by heedlessness or negligence, is charged on the company. The renter can repair the vehicle immediately.
Upon agreement, any charges up to Euro 80,00 can be made without prior authorization and will be refunded after presenting itemized bills. If repair amount is in excess of Euro 80,00, renter must obtain prior authorization from the rental company, via phone.

DRIVER'S LICENSE

The company requires that all drivers be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's INTERNATIONAL License issued by the State or Country of residence at least 1 year prior the rental date.

CONVENIENCE KITS (only in Milan)

Optional kits are available, which include bedding, pillows, cooking utensils, dishes, and pots. Kit should be reserved at time reservation is made. Cost for these kits are indicated on the current rate sheet.

PICK-UP AND RETURN

Pick-up time should be scheduled as close as possible at time of reservation. Each customer is instructed on complete operation of the vehicle at time of pick-up.
Pick-up hours are: 09:00a.m.to Noon; 03:00 p.m. to 06:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Vehicles must be returned between 09:00 a.m. and Noon on the specified day unless otherwise agreed.

JURISDICTION  : The original form of terms and conditions will be signed before renting. Only this form will be considered In the event of any dispute or irreconcilable disagreement, regarding these terms and conditions. The competent court for settlement of claims shall be the in the city of the leasing company in Italy.
